It would probably be best to call whichever chassis manufacturer you are considering and ask that. I have a feeling it is also a wheelbase and track width change as well.
Pretty much everyone is building 1 1/4 chassis for both classes nowdays. We're running a QRC 1 1/4 .083 in the 250 class and absolutley love it. Some guys have even gone to 1 1/4 .065 I know ignite was doing these and they work just not going to get alot of nights out of it in my opinion, and our budget doesn't align with that. LPR even does a split tube chassis that works well too. .065 on the right side. the wheel bases are the same. THE .083 allows the chassis to flex more getting into the track than the .095. What class are you looking to race?
