What is the spring height of new red spring not on the clutch?

They are a half inch spring by design. (.500") It depends on how/where you measure them though. If you put them in a spring tester and allow them to square up, they'll be at (or very near) 1/2." A spring tester is the only way to match springs correctly. Measuring their overall length to match them is guessing at best.
